Right Backs roles
Every card is scored in each of these roles, and the ranking above uses its best one. Open a role to see who suits it best.
Best Fullback (RB)
A wide defender that will prioritise protecting their own goal, by staying back, holding the defensive line, and offering a passing option to release pressure.
Best Falseback (RB)
A modern evolution of the fullback, this player pushes up the field, adopting a central position, when their team has the ball.
Best Wingback (RB)
This player's versatility and stamina allows them to push upfield to support attacks, before returning to their defensive position.
Best Attacking Wingback (RB)
Though technically a defender, this player will be more concerned with getting forward, and offering width to their team's attacks.
Best Inverted Wingback (RB)
A modern attacking Fullback who gets forward and adopts a central position high up the pitch when their team has the ball.
How we rank Right Backs
Meta Score rates a card in a specific role rather than overall. It weighs the attributes that role needs, PlayStyles and PlayStyles+, AcceleRATE, skill moves, weak foot, height and Role+ / Role++, and tests every chemistry style at full chemistry to find the best one. OVR only averages attributes, so a lower-rated card often plays better in the right role.
Prices are console Transfer Market prices. Cards you can't buy, like SBC and objective rewards, are included on this page and marked in the price column.

How often is this list updated?
Prices refresh throughout the day and the ranking is rebuilt at least every 30 minutes. A card's Meta Score changes when the card is upgraded or the scoring is retuned.

Console prices by default. Switch to PC above the ranking to see PC prices; on budget pages the list is also rebuilt from PC prices.
