FC 27 Ligue 1 POTM September SBC: Requirements, Cost, and Analysis
The brand new Ligue 1 POTM September SBC is now live in FC 27 Ultimate Team. This latest addition gives players a chance to secure an elite Player of the Month card through an innovative mechanics layout. Unlike traditional building challenges, this is a score-based SBC, meaning you don't have to worry about complex squad formations or team chemistry links.
How Score-Based SBCs Work in FC 27
Score-based Squad Building Challenges discard traditional requirements in favor of a straightforward grading system. Every player item in your club has a fixed grading score. Instead of submitting a full 11-player squad with specific positions and chemistry thresholds, you simply submit any player items from your club until your combined grading score meets or exceeds the target. For this specific challenge, the total score requirement is set to 123,000 points, with a minimum OVR requirement of 45 for all submitted player items.

Cost and Strategy: Finding the Best Value
Because chemistry is completely ignored, the most cost-effective way to clear the 123,000 point requirement is to target fodder items that offer the lowest price per grading score. Currently, market trends indicate fluctuating values, with estimated completion costs hovering around 148,650 on consoles and 141,250 on PC. Leveraging untradeable duplicates sitting in your club storage is the ultimate way to drastically lower these expenses.
