FC 27 81+ TOTW 1-7 Upgrade SBC: Requirements, Score System & Solution
Welcome to the latest FC 27 Ultimate Team Squad Building Challenge breakdown! EA Sports has introduced a brand-new format with score-based challenges, completely changing how we think about fodder. The 81+ TOTW 1-7 Upgrade SBC is now live in Ultimate Team, offering players a fantastic chance to secure high-rated Team of the Week items from the first seven weeks of the season.
Understanding Score-Based SBCs and Requirements
Unlike classic Squad Building Challenges, this score-based release throws out chemistry rules and traditional squad layouts. There is no formation to worry about and no specific positions required. Instead, you simply submit any player items directly from your club. Every player item carries a fixed grading score based on their overall rating, and your goal is to hit a combined total threshold. For this challenge, you need to accumulate a total score requirement of 22000 points while utilizing players with a minimum OVR of 45.

Cost Efficiency and Maximizing Value
Managing your club stock efficiently is key to completing this challenge without draining your coin balance. The estimated market cost sits around 24,200 on consoles and 22,800 on PC, though you can significantly lower this by utilizing untradeable duplicates already sitting in your club. Because every card has a fixed grading score, the cheapest way to reach the target is by finding players who offer the best coin-to-score ratio on the transfer market. Look for high-rated unutilised fodder where the grading score outweighs the market price tag.
