Max. 87 Base Hero Upgrade SBC: Requirements, Solutions, and Rewards
Welcome to the latest Ultimate Team squad building challenge guide! EA Sports has officially dropped the Max. 87 Base Hero Upgrade in FC 27. Unlike traditional challenges that require specific chemistry styles, leagues, or exact squad ratings, this is an innovative score-based SBC. There is no squad formation to worry about and zero chemistry requirements.
How Score-Based SBCs Work
In this score-based format, you simply submit any player items directly from your club storage. Every player item in the game possesses a fixed grading score. The challenge is successfully completed once the combined grading score of all your submitted player items reaches the mandatory score requirement. For this specific release, you will need to meet a total score requirement of 115000 points using players rated a minimum of 45 OVR.

Optimizing Your Cost and Submissions
Because you can submit arbitrary players from your club, the most cost-effective strategy is to target fodder that offers the lowest coin price per grading score point. Monitoring market fluctuations on 124,800 and 137,000 will help you identify untradeable duplicates or cheap high-rated fodder in your club that maximize your point return without draining your coin balance. With an estimated reward market value of 88,667, smart club management is key to completing this affordably.
