FC 27 TOTW Upgrade SBC: Requirements, Score System, and Rewards
The Team of the Week is back with a brand-new mechanics twist in FC 27 Ultimate Team. EA Sports has introduced a score-based Squad Building Challenge called the TOTW Upgrade. Unlike traditional team building tasks that require specific squad formations and chemistry percentages, this innovative format completely changes how you utilize your club inventory.
How Score-Based SBCs Work in FC 27
If you are wondering how to tackle this release, the rules are straightforward. There is no squad arrangement or chemistry to worry about. Instead, you simply submit any player items directly from your club. Every player item in the game is assigned a fixed grading score based on their ratings and attributes. Your goal is to keep dumping players into the challenge submission screen until your combined grading score hits or exceeds the total target requirement.

SBC Solver and Cost Optimization
Maximizing your club value is essential for finishing this SBC efficiently. Because player items translate directly into a fixed grading score, the cheapest way to reach the target is to look for untradeables or fodder that offers the lowest price per grading score point. Market fluctuations mean that coin values change rapidly, with current estimates sitting around 11,850 on consoles and 12,500 on PC if you are buying from scratch.
