How to Complete the Destined for Glory Davide Frattesi Score-Based SBC in FC 27
By Alfie Carrington••3 min read
The latest content update in FC 27 has introduced a fresh way to engage with the game through a score-based Squad Building Challenge (SBC). The featured reward is the Destined for Glory Davide Frattesi, a card that promises significant impact in the midfield. This specific SBC departs from the traditional format; there is no squad to build and no chemistry to manage. Instead, players are required to meet a total grading score by submitting player items from their club, making it a pure numbers game.
Understanding the Score-Based SBC Mechanics
In this Davide Frattesi SBC, the primary objective is to reach a total score requirement of 40,000. Every player item in your club has been assigned a fixed grading score based on their attributes and rarity. The challenge is completed once the combined grading score of all submitted players hits the target. For this particular release, the only entry restriction is a minimum OVR of 45, meaning almost any player in your club can contribute to the total.

- Every player item has a fixed grading score assigned to it. You simply add players to the SBC until the sum of their individual scores reaches the 40,000 requirement.
- Is there a limit on how many players I can submit?
- Unlike traditional SBCs with an 11-player limit, score-based SBCs allow you to submit as many players as needed to reach the target score, provided they meet the minimum OVR requirement.
- Can I repeat the Davide Frattesi SBC?
- No, this specific SBC is not repeatable and can only be completed once.
The Cheapest Way to Reach the 40,000 Score
The most cost-effective method is to prioritize players who offer the highest grading score for the lowest coin value. Since there is no chemistry involved, you should look for high-rated 'fodder' that might not fit into meta squads but carries a high grading score. This approach ensures you aren't overspending on expensive league-specific players when any player with the required OVR will do the job just as well.
